Dustin Seo is a cellist and arts administrator committed to building community spaces in LA through music. During his tenure as the Associate Artistic Director at Street Symphony, Dustin committed his artistic practice to artistic programing in Skid Row and the LA County Jails. He now turns his artistic focus towards “Laós Chamber Music,”  a grassroots chamber music series offering free, classical music programs for the local San Gabriel Valley community.

In addition to his involvement in grassroots community work, Dustin also serves as the Philanthropic Engagement Officer at the Los Angeles Philharmonic. In his role, Dustin works to qualify, cultivate, and solicit gifts of $15,000 annually from individual donors. Dustin has successfully raised over $800,000 in personal solicitations in FY25. In addition to his work as a giving officer, Dustin leads many of its philanthropic programs with an artistic lens, including the LA Phil’s newest young professionals membership program, Subito.

In 2022, Dustin was selected as a Fellow of the Episcopal Church Foundation and was named a fellow of the California Arts Council in 2021.
