Flutist and composer Daniel Lemer's eclectic output mixes the very old and the very new. As a composer and orchestrator, his music ranges from scores for film and television to ambient soundscapes tuned by mathematical ratios. As a flutist his focus is new music, but he is also active as a historically informed performer, playing music from the Baroque era on period instruments. Daniel holds degrees in composition from the University of Southern California and flute performance from California Institute of the Arts.
